When LOCASH thought about what represented some of the best things in life, they immediately put their hearts toward the captivating coast of California to film in front of picturesque views in the music video for “Don’t Get Better Than That.”

The duo didn’t want to get caught up in the materialistic gems that some people strive toward in order to make a good life, but rather look out onto the scenic world around them to show fans just how far they’ve come as a group. Taking the more humble approach to the meaning of “Don’t Get Better Than That,” LOCASH brought on director TK McKamy to capture the beauty in simplicity and design how they look at their internal successes.

“We wanted to bring a humble, yet colorful, view on life and showcase some of our earth’s hidden secrets and gems. The simple, yet important, things in life. It was refreshing to film just a chill video where we could sit back and really take in what we have accomplished in our lives and career,” Chris Lucas of the duo said to Entertainment Tonight.

Releasing “Don’t Get Better Than That” out to the masses as the first listen to their sophomore effort was an easy decision since the ACM-nominated duo always reverts back to the little things in life meaning the most to them and their team every step along the way.

“We wanted to show how grateful we are for this life, for our families, and for our career. It’s all about knowing where you’ve been and loving where you’re at — that’s our journey,” Preston Brust explained to the media outlet about their upcoming release.

The guys will head out to Las Vegas in just a couple weeks’ time to compete for the ACM Vocal Duo of the Year trophy alongside their country colleagues at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards. The show will air on Sunday, April 15, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
