Charles Kelley Shares Hilarious Photo of Son Meeting Santa

Some kids are afraid of the dark and some are afraid of spiders, but Charles Kelley’s son is afraid of the big man in red, Santa Claus himself.

Like many parents do during the holiday season, Kelley took his baby boy to the classic sitting on Santa’s lap set-up recently to snap a pic of his son, Ward, getting into the Christmas spirit. While his reaction was not the expected kind for most children, the country singer couldn’t help but share the hilarious moment with his followers on Instagram with a clever caption at that.

“Ward it’s just Santa. He’s just a big hairy sweaty man that comes once a year and breaks into your house through the chimney and eats all your cookies. Nothing to be afraid of little man! @cassiemkelley,” he wrote about the candid sobbing snapshot.

Nevertheless, the crying photo still holds a close spot in both the Kelleys and fans’ hearts as it marks the true magic that this time of year holds—everything is a surprise and it’s all about the little moments that create the wonder that is Christmastime.

Kelley is currently going back and forth between hanging out with his loving family and spending some good quality time in the studio with the rest of the Lady Antebellum crew. The new album, which has yet to have any details announced, will be the follow-up project to their album, 747, which was released in 2014.
