Dan + Shay Are Headed Down Under With Shawn Mendes
They'll join Mendes' world tour in Australia this fall.
Grammy winning duo Dan + Shay are joining pop superstar Shawn Mendes for series of Australian dates this fall.
Jumping on board Mendes’ self-titled world tour, the hit making team of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney will open seven shows in the down-under cities of Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
Dan + Shay’s news follows the duo’s massive international breakout with last year’s release of “Tequila,” which has so far gathered more than 600 Million global streams. Right now they’re still seeing the effects of that smash hit, as they finish up their own headlining tour in front of enormous crowds around the U.S.
Meanwhile, Dan + Shay are also on tap to debut their tender track “Keeping Score (featuring Kelly Clarkson)” on the upcoming 54th ACM Awards, which air live on CBS Sunday, April 7 at 8:00 PM ET. The heartfelt duet is nominated for Music Event of the Year at the show – one of the duo’s six nominations – and appears on their 2018 self titled album.
Dan + Shay’s current single “All to Myself” is out now, and they’ll join Florida Georgia Line’s for the Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour in June.
