Even 13 years after tying the knot with Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks is still quite the romantic. The Oklahoma native will extend a grand gesture to his bride when he debuts a new song during his performance on the 52nd Annual CMA Awards.

Teasing the tune during his Inside Studio G chat, Brooks shared that Yearwood has yet to hear the song herself and it will be new to her during the awards celebration. While the track isn’t necessarily directly about the “She’s In Love With The Boy” singer, Brooks admitted that it’s message about strong women is what reminds him of his wife.

His weekly Facebook chat with fans also allowed the singer to tease some of what Yearwood is working on, in terms of new music. On Monday (11/5), Yearwood posted a seductive photos to Instagram. The sexy photo has Yearwood looking straight at the camera, with a hat tipped over one eye. In the picture, she’s loosening a tie with her shirt unbuttoned just enough to show some skin.

When answering fan questions, the topic of the photo came up. “Oh, I know what that is,” Brooks said, before getting interrupted by someone behind-the-scenes.

While he wasn’t able to delve deeper into what Yearwood has been working on, Brooks knows just how (im)patiently her fans have been waiting for new music. “[They] have been asking for something for years to come out, and this is cool. It’s neat to be in the house with her while this is going on,” he shared.

While there’s no word on when Yearwood’s secret song will drop, Brooks’ new tune will hit country radio the day after the CMA Awards. Be sure to catch him as he performs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 14.
