Kacey Musgraves Plays Her Favorites for Spotify Sessions

During her time at the South by Southwest Spotify House, Kacey Musgraves busted out a few of her favorite tracks and recorded them for a brand new playlist on the popular streaming service.
Bringing out her old-fashioned sound to modern lyrics for the festival crowd, Musgraves sounded even better on the live tracks as she played some new and old songs from both of her albums. On the setlist for the mix were songs like “Die Fun,” “High Time,” “Follow Your Arrow” and “Step Off.”
Getting a little funky with it, Musgraves even took some time out to add a little country spin to the huge pop hit, “Crazy,” by CeeLo Green. She put on an epic rendition of the song, complete with a harmonica and shouting background vocals during some verses.
The playlist also features a few of the tracks Musgraves played live at Bonnaroo in 2013. Those songs include “The Trailer Song,” “Keep It to Yourself” and “Blowin’ Smoke.”
