Most of Kenny Chesney’s songs give off all good vibes, ready to let listeners free of their worries and just chill out from the stresses of the real world for a while. With his latest single, “Setting the World on Fire,” he sticks with his common laidback theme as he sings about an adventurous relationship filled with spontaneity.

Performing the song with pop superstar P!nk, the single captures what a no boundaries whirlwind romance is all about. Complete with lyrical images of cruising with the windows down and living that California dream together, the song embodies the easygoing feel that Chesney always strives for. He even has one line that strikes him every time he sings it because it just goes with the whole theme of the track.

“My favorite line in the song is ‘Do you think will live forever, as we killed another beer’ and just that line alone to me defines the carefree nature of the moment that we’re singing about in the song. Realizing that you’re with someone really wonderful, and that you hope the moment never ends, you basically just want to live in that moment forever, and that you truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, then where you are with that person and realizing that the moment is really special and real,” he explained.

The just-released music video for the track highlights everything like a love letter to the couple who are mad for one another as well as to all of the iconic Los Angeles sights like Santa Monica Pier and the big name city streets. Filmed in a black-and-white scheme, the video portrays the romance with a nostalgic tone as they dance on top of skyscraper buildings and cruise in a classic convertible during what seems to be a lovely California day.

The song will be featured on Chesney’s upcoming album, Cosmic Hallelujah, which is set to release on October 28. Chesney just recently finished his Spread the Love Tour that sold out stadiums all across the country and he is already set to play Tortuga Music Festival in April of 2017.
