Breakups and broken hearts suck, and country up-and-comer Morgan Wallen explores the pain and motivation surrounding a post-break-up night with the boys in his new music video for “Whiskey Glasses.”

In the clip, Wallen turns the redneck up to a ten with a freshly-cut mullet, DIY sleeveless flannel and a whole lot of whiskey with the guys. And as the singer explores the dual meaning of “Whiskey Glasses,” we learn more about the relationship of which he sings. Turns out our mullet-rocking hero was cheated on, and this is a night of healing…and hiding from reality.

“I’ma need some whiskey glasses/’Cause I don’t wanna see the truth,” sings Wallen.

With some liquid courage, a get-over-her attitude and some help from his friends, Wallen plays for a packed bar as they “line ‘em up and knock ‘em back,” hopefully with an Aspirin waiting for him in the morning.

“Whiskey Glasses” is collecting millions of streams already and is the latest single released from Wallen’s debut album If I Know Me. The singer has been one to watch since the release of his Platinum-certified hit “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line. Wallen is also making moves this fall as a special guest on Jake Owen’s “Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour,” with appearances scheduled in Pennsylvania, Virginia and South Carolina.
