With a lot of country music artists spending most of their time out on the road, it’s no wonder that they may want a furry companion to keep them company when they’re away from home. These country stars love showing off their pups, whether they’re at home or on the road, and we love seeing their furry faces pop up on our Instagram feed.

Here are just a few of country music’s cutest pups:

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd’s June and Pancake

Guess who’s back from camp? @cedarvalleycanine

While June has had Morris and Hurd’s love for a long time, Pancake just recently joined their family and has quickly gained their affection as well.

Kelsea Ballerini’s Dibs

running stairs isn’t as bad when you have a fluffy teammate. @david_od

Named after Ballerini’s second #1 hit, Dibs is a lovable ball of energy that has her “callin Dibs” every time they go to the park.

Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay’s Chief, Joy and Ghost

Home is really good.

Smyers and his wife, Abby, are passionate about animal rescue and have rescued all three of their dogs from a local Nashville rescue, Proverbs 12:10. In addition to loving on their three pups, the two are often fostering other dogs and volunteering with Proverbs 12:10 too.

Brett Eldredge’s Edgar

In the studio with my new duet partner…aiming for that duo of the year nomination!

Whether he’s out on the road or in the studio, you’d be hard pressed to find Eldredge without Edgar by his side.

Carrie Underwood’s Ace and Penny

While she may be mom to Isaiah now too, Underwood still makes sure to give Ace and Penny all the love and attention they need.

Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line’s Harley

Hubbard probably snuggles with his daughter, Olivia, more than he does with Harley these days, but judging by Hubbard’s frequent Instagram posts of the two, it seems like Harley and Olivia get along just fine.

Cassadee Pope’s Cuppy

While they might not always be saving the world together, Cuppy makes a great side kick for Pope when she’s out on the road too.

Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town’s Honey

The “you’re leaving me, aren’t you” face…

With the golden color of Honey’s fur, it’s not hard to guess where Westbrook and Fairchild got her name from.

Jason Aldean’s Boss

Aldean’s son, Memphis, is the new kid in town, but we have a feeling that Boss is still the boss of the house.

Chris Young’s Porter

Thanks @porterthedog Love you too #nationalpuppyday

A post shared by Chris Young (@chrisyoungmusic) on

Porter is a newer addition to Young’s family, but he has quickly captured the hearts of both Young and fans alike.

While they all have busy schedules, it’s clear to see that these country stars don’t let their jobs take away from loving on their pups whenever they can.
