Dreamy ‘American Idol’ Contestant Trevor Holmes Sings Brett Young Song

Swoon, swoon, swoon! American Idol fans everywhere are currently looking up information about dreamboat Trevor Holmes, who recently auditioned for the revived show. The 27-year-old construction worker caught the eye of judge Katy Perry long before he opened his mouth to sing, but his song of choice caused her to lose all sense of chill.
After admitting he was indeed off the market, much to Perry’s dismay, Holmes took out his guitar and strummed along to his rendition of Brett Young’s triple-platinum No.1 song, “In Case You Didn’t Know.”
The performance left Perry speechless and faint upon Luke Bryan’s shoulder, who proceeded to award the hopeful with a golden ticket to Hollywood. The experience was a dream come true for Holmes, who is excited to move on to the next round of competition.
“It’s been so surreal, it’s always been one of those things you dream about,” he told Good Morning America after his audition aired.
Watching the flirtatious audition back was all in good fun for Holmes, who watched it alongside his girlfriend, Sierra.
“I was fully supportive of it. We all have celebrity crushes but it was really funny because when they asked me to run in I was just bee-lining towards him and I had no idea I cut Katy off,” she told GMA. “We even laughed about it and I told her we could share him.”
