Blake Shelton is showing no signs of slowing down as the singer has just announced his 11th studio album, Texoma Shore.

“When you listen to the record it will go from something traditional to something that will make your head spin back to something even more traditional,” shared Shelton in a press release. “That’s just what you can expect from one of my albums. At this point in my career it’s always good for me to try something different, with different sounds, and I think you’ll hear hints of that on this record. I’ve explored about every part of country music you can explore and it seems like I always keep coming back to my roots, which is traditional country music. I love great songs and there are so many talented writers in Nashville, but I do have a song on the album that I wrote and I’m very proud of it.”

The Oklahoma native teased the news of the project on Twitter nearly 24 hours before announcing the new project.

In a series of tweets, Shelton listed off hints, covering a slew of geographical locations, even messing one of them up. “I got something to tell y’all but I aint making it easy this time!! Gonna have to figure this one out yourselves today…,” he teased.

The name of the project is likely derived from a locale close to Shelton’s home in Tishomingo, OK. The two spots are nearly 40 minutes apart from each other.

While the prospect of new music may be exciting for Shelton’s fans, the singer did previously tease that this album may be his last. “I mean, that last album I made was gonna be my last — this next album I’m makin’s probably gonna be my last album. So I really gotta decide what I wanna do,” he told Entertainment Tonight during a red carpet event for The Voice in May.

Shelton last released new music when his album If I’m Honest dropped in May 2016. The project featured hits like “Came Here to Forget,” “A Guy With A Girl,” “Every Time I Hear That Song,” “She’s Got A Way With Words,” and “Savoir’s Song.” He recently released what is likely the lead single from the new album, “I’ll Name The Dogs,” to country radio.

He’ll also soon appear as a guest on Gwen Stefani’s upcoming Christmas album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas.

Blake Shelton’s Texoma Shore will be available on Nov. 3. Fans can pre-order the album now.
