Brooks & Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini Join ‘The Voice’ As Battle Round Advisers
Make way for Brooks, Dunn and Ballerini on The Voice!
Iconic country duo Brooks & Dunn will lend their endless knowledge to rising stars on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. The duo, comprised of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, will join the popular competition show as the battle round advisers on Blake Shelton’s team.
“This just in…we’re joining #TeamBlake as Battles Advisors this season on @NBCTheVoice! We’re coming for you @blakeshelton,” they tweeted Thursday afternoon (2/7).
In addition to Brooks & Dunn’s appearance, “Miss Me More” singer Kelsea Ballerini has signed on to be the adviser for Kelly Clarkson’s team. The two are currently out on tour together for Clarkson’s Meaning Of Life Tour.
Ballerini previously appeared on The Voice as the coach for the Comeback Stage. Joining this year as an adviser is a totally different ballgame, the Tennessee native shared.
“It’s different though doing it with [Kelly] because I feel like I’m learning from what she’s saying, so I feel like I’m being way more quiet, because I’m listening to everything she’s saying,” she told Extra.
Fellow coaches Adam Levine and John Legend have recruited Charlie Puth and Khalid, respectively, as their team advisers.
NBC’s The Voice premieres Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
