Congratulations to Brothers Osborne and directors Wes Edwards and Ryan Silver for their win in the Music Video of the Year category for the 51st Annual CMA Awards! The pair won for “It Ain’t My Fault” as announced this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Brothers Osborne and the directors’ visual storytelling capabilities were showcased in the Point Break-inspired video.

“It’s a spin-off of the iconic robbery scene in the movie Point Break,” John Osborne told People in an interview upon the video’s release. “The media these days is flooded with all things presidential and politics. No matter what goes wrong, presidents all seem to pin the blame on something else as opposed to being accountable for their own actions. The connection and timing was perfect.”

The clip beat out Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” Little Big Town’s “Better Man,” Miranda Lambert’s “Vice” and Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris’ “Craving You” in the Music Video of the Year category.

Brothers Osborne will head into tonight’s ceremony as winners, and remain hopeful for a back-to-back Vocal Duo of the Year Award win.

The 51st Annual CMA Awards are hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the 10th year in a row. Fans can keep up with all of the awards and accolades handed out at tonight’s show by clicking HERE.
