There’s nothing that a little salty air and warm sand can’t fix.

Brothers Osborne decided to take the plunge and head down to the Gulf of Mexico to create their sophomore studio record. Approaching the project as a house record by renting out a home on the coast, the guys packed up all their gear to set up in a laidback setting with an ocean view to boot.

Today, on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, we embark on the journey that is a second record. Here goes!

“Today, on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, we embark on the journey that is a second record. Here goes,” they captioned a snapshot of their makeshift cottage studio.

Documenting their adventures in songwriting and recording via their Instagram feed, the bros seem to be finding their greatest artistic expression through the help of a gorgeous sunset here and there as well as a chill vibe set throughout their tropical space. The country duo, though, are keeping rather quiet about what sound they’re geared toward for the second time around.

The guys also aren’t holding back on their antics despite dedicating themselves to their new music on the way. While we can imagine the pranks going on around their adopted abode, Brothers Osborne must be laughing all of their writer’s block away when the hilarity ensues.

“When you’re locked out of your own recording session,” they wrote as John Osborne looks on from to the outside to brother, T.J., as he lays down a vocal.

Brothers Osborne blew up over the country scene with their debut record, which produced hits like “21 Summer” and “Stay a Little Longer.” They also took home quite the amount of trophies, including ACM and CMA Awards throughout the past year in their career.

For now, fans will just have to be anxiously awaiting the release of new music from Brothers Osborne coming soon. Keep up with the rest of the recording high-jinks by checking out instagram.com/brothersosborne.
