Carly Pearce Is Haunted by Lost Love in ‘Every Little Thing’ Music Video

Although the relationship sailed away long ago, the halls that surround Carly Pearce still haunt her with the memories of her lost love in the music video for her single, “Every Little Thing.”

Switching between the flashbacks of happier times and the cold reality of living in a home alone, Pearce sorrowfully sings through the heartache and loneliness confronting her in the hollow rooms. Every part of the two-story house brings up another memory and for Pearce, another reason to break down throughout the solemn lyric.

Pearce sought inspiration from a real-life heartbreak that shattered her world in order to write “Every Little Thing” from such a vulnerable position. “As a songwriter, you write all different kinds of songs, but this one came from I lost what I call ‘the big love’ and this was more like therapy of wanting to write something super real, kind of like a snapshot of what I was feeling in the moment, feeling like I couldn’t take another breath. Because when you’re in those moments, you can’t let your heart get over something faster than it can,” Pearce previously explained to Sounds Like Nashville about the song.

Representing the female side of country music, “Every Little Thing” has brought Pearce to the Billboard Top 20 list after years and year of hard work. Dedicating her all to her craft, the validation stands true as the country up-and-comer continues to use her voice in pursuit of her long-awaited dream.
