Just 10 short years ago, Carrie Underwood checked a goal off the bucket list by becoming an official member of the Grand Ole Opry. Time flies when you’re having fun, but the singer still wanted to celebrate the occasion by returning back to the iconic country stage.

A number of special guests showed up in support of Underwood, as she graced the Circle for live renditions of “I Told You So,” “Before He Cheats” and her latest track, “Cry Pretty.” Even Randy Travis made a surprise appearance to congratulate the singer on her success, reminiscent of her invitation just a decade ago.

“What an incredible night celebrating 10 years of being in this amazing @opry family,” Underwood wrote. “Thank you, #RandyTravis for always being so sweet to me! Thanks, @garthbrooks for the flowers! Thanks @bradpaisley #CrystalGayle@vincegillofficial and @reba for the kind words and messages! A special thanks to my Opry family and all the people on my team for the wonderful surprises!”

It was a big night for Underwood overall, in which some of her closest friends sent her a delicious cake to feast on backstage as well as flowers to bring the whole event together.

“Thank you, fans, for all the love and support you have always given and continue to give. Thank you @iveycakestore for the beautiful and delicious cake. And, last, but not least, thank you to the Bologna Lady and my @umgnashville family for being here to celebrate!!! My heart is full…,” she continued.

Back in March of 2018 was when Underwood received the opportunity to join the Opry family thanks to an offer from Travis that she couldn’t refuse. Ever since, the star has played the venue a number of times throughout her career.

Currently, Underwood will continue to promote her brand new single, “Cry Pretty,” on country radio now.
