For the 10th year consecutive year, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will take on co-hosting duties at the 51st Annual CMA Awards. But they couldn’t move away from their decade of fun without looking back on the good ol’ times they’ve had together.

The two got paired up for their emcee responsibilities back in 2008 and they never skipped a beat on their knowledge of current events and poking fun at the honored nominees out in the audience. Mixing together Paisley’s quick wit and Underwood’s understated sense of humor, the stars always balance one another and decided to look back on some of their best memories on the job.

Back in 2012, Paisley and Underwood boogied down to their own rendition of “Gangnam Style” thanks to the help of a choreographer that Paisley claimed was never too happy with his dance stylings.

“That guy was Michael Jackson’s choreographer. He was legit. And he was frustrated, I think, working with me. He pulled a miracle out off that I wasn’t even near correct. Yeah, I wasn’t bad…it could have been worse,” Paisley sarcastically said to Underwood’s confident approval.

They also reminded themselves of the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Barbie skit where they checked to make sure the dolls were “anatomically correct.” Noting that they always keep their eye on what’s trending in order to snag the best joke for the monologue, the two felt they nailed that one on the head as the power country couple just laughed along to the gag.

Looking back though, the CMA co-hosts couldn’t narrow down their favorite opening line to just one specific moment. Instead, Paisley and Underwood spilled a number of sassy jabs they remembered hit well with their crowd. But Underwood reassured fans that the best is definitely yet to come on their upcoming routine.

The 51st Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 8, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
