Hot off the heels of her first chart-topping single, “Think of You” with Chris Young, Cassadee Pope has announced a new single and EP.

Due out June 3, Pope’s Summer EP will feature four tracks, including three co-written by the West Palm Beach, FL native.

The title track, which is Pope’s new single, was penned by Pope alongside Kelly Archer and Emily Shackelton. Hitting Country radio on June 6, “Summer” features lyrics about a summer love. She sings, “My heart on fire in his hands, yeah/ He drove away the first of September / But I remember, / yeah I remember / He talked like / And he walked like / And he looked like / And he burned like / Summer.”

Summer EP Track List:
1. Summer | Written by Cassadee Pope, Kelly Archer, Emily Shackelton
2. Piano | Written by Cassadee Pope, Jimmy Robbins, Laura Veltz
3. Kisses At Airports | Written by Jessi Alexander, Connie Harrington, Chase McGill
4. Alien | Written by Cassadee Pope, Ross Copperman, Jon Nite

The EP was produced by Corey Crowder, who was a co-writer on “Think of You.”

Pope will team up with Young once again this fall when she joins him on the next leg of his I’m Comin’ Over Tour.
