Country fans may want to take notice of Justin Timberlake’s earthy new album, Man of the Woods, because one of the genre’s biggest acts will appear on the upcoming project.

According to a press release shared on Wednesday (Jan. 3), Chris Stapleton will appear on the project on a yet-to-be-named song.

The track will unite Timberlake and Stapleton for the second time since their tremendous CMA Awards performance in November 2015. The mash-up of “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away” was one of the most talked about moments from the broadcast. The two also surprised fans when Stapleton joined Timberlake onstage at the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, Tennessee in 2017.

In addition to their collaborative efforts, the men have been longtime friends, having bonded over fatherhood and their shared affection for music.

“We met through mutual friends,” Stapleton told Billboard at the time of their CMA Awards performance. “When his wife was pregnant, we talked about some things about being a dad. We talk about dad stuff and regular life stuff — and we talk about music a lot, too. And we always check in on each other.”

Also featured on the February 2nd release will be collaborations with Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams and Timbaland. The record debuts just two days before Timberlake headlines Super Bowl Halftime Show in Minneapolis.

Fans will get their first taste of Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods when the first song, “Filthy,” drops Friday, Jan. 5.
