It has been a stellar year for country duo Dan + Shay, who released their self-titled third studio album featuring the song “Tequila” which has garnered more than 92 million on-demand streams.

With growing recognition, the duo decided to surprise their fans with a headlining tour set to be begin in the spring of 2019. The headlining tour will kick off on February 28 in New Orleans and will cross the nation for two months until its final show in Calgary, Alberta on April 20.

Joining Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney on the road will be rising country stars Morgan Evans and Chris Lane, both of whom released new albums in 2018.

Excited fans first started seeing the buzz about a Dan + Shay headlining tour on Twitter where the duo simply asked, “Should we book a headlining tour?” The question was met with more than 1,600 responses from excited fans who couldn’t wait to hear the full announcement.

Ahead of kicking off their spring 2019 tour, Dan + Shay will continue their run as support on Chris Young’s “Losing Sleep Tour” and will embark on a UK headlining tour in January 2019. They are also slated to perform on the 52nd annual CMA Awards on November 14.
