Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan To Host 51st Annual ACM Awards

It’s official! Dierks Bentley is set to co-host the 51st Annual ACM Awards alongside Luke Bryan!

Yesterday (Dec.14), in a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, Bryan revealed that he’d no longer host the show with Blake Shelton. The clip left a trail of hints, including a cameo by Bentley’s dog, Jake.

In a hilarious new clip, shared by Bentley fans see Bryan distraught over the loss of Shelton (R.I.P. Bluke) and on the hunt for his co-host. That’s when you see Bentley’s alter egos, the pilot from “Drunk on a Plane” and his 90’s country band, Hot Country Knights, rocking out at The Stage on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

Enter Bentley…

“Dierks! Oh my God – that’s it! I’ve been looking for a sign all day and you walk in the bar. What are you doing April 3rd?” Bryan asks. “You got a suit?”

“I got a great suit,” Bentley says as his suit suddenly appears on his body.

“Then let’s go to Vegas and host the ACM Awards together!” Bryan exclaims.

Catch the brand new duo, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, as they host the 51st ACM Awards in Las Vegas on April 3rd.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining my friend Luke Bryan to co-host the the 51st ACM - Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2016!
