It’s no surprise that Dolly Parton’s career is legendary in many rights, but now the icon can claim her own Guinness World Records title with double the celebration.

Heading into 2018 hot, Parton was recognized by the famous organization for two musical feats accomplished by none other than her. Parton marks the only artist to earn Top 20 hits along six consecutive decades, from the 1960s to the 2010s. The legend also earned the label for the most hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart by a female artist.

Of course, Parton expressed her humble gratitude toward both plaques in her charming Southern manner and remained completely thankful for being recognized.

“To receive these two Guinness World Records is so great,” Parton stated in a recent press release. “Joining so many wonderful singers and songwriters who have been honored this way feels so special to me. You never know when you start out with your work how it’s going to turn out, but to have these two world records makes me feel very humbled and blessed!”

On top of her Guinness World Records accomplishments, Parton will soon receive The Governor’s Award at the 32nd Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards for her work on Smoky Mountain Rising. The trophy typically pays tribute to someone who contributed greatly and selflessly to community service, in which Parton gave back after the horrific fires that burned many parts of her Eastern Tennessee home region down.

Parton’s latest release and first-ever children’s album, I Believe in You, can be purchased or streamed now.
