In between their dialogue, the two look on at past CMA Awards clips as they play across the surrounding screens. The short videos jump between Underwood winning her first CMA to Maren Morris who emotionally accepted CMA New Artist of the Year in 2016, proclaiming “Last year I sat across the street and watched this show.”
The clip concludes with Paisley and Underwood’s final statement: “Feel the music. Live the moments.”
This year’s show is already shaping up to be a big one as the CMA has announced a slew of incredible performers for the evening. Taking the stage throughout the show will be Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line with Bebe Rexha, Kacey Musgraves, Pistol Annies and Thomas Rhett.
The 52nd Annual CMA Awards will take place live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
