Florida Georgia Line continue to prove their mass appeal as their latest crossover hit with Bebe Rexha remains at No.1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the 12th straight week. In addition to its chart domination, the Platinum-certified song has broken the record for the longest-leading chart-topper for a female-led song.

The triumph of the track has been overwhelming for FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley.

“Some of the coolest moments for us have been the ones we never planned. Going into the writing session that day in LA, we had no idea that it would turn into this,” Hubbard explained of the track he wrote with Rexha, Josh Miller and David Garcia. “Seeing how the fans are connecting to the vibe and message of ‘Meant to Be’ has been really amazing.”

“Our passion is our craft, every step along the way from the songwriting, to recording, to hearing our music over the airwaves. And, to know that our fans have been requesting this song and we can now share it with everyone is meant-to-be on a whole new level,” added Kelley.

The success of the track has earned praise from industry and fans alike, with Hubbard’s wife Hayley even voicing her praise for her husband’s hard work and creativity.

“This picture was taken only 10 months ago, on the day he wrote Meant To Be 🎶 and before we found out we were pregnant. I can remember it so clearly! The song is now #1 in all genres on iTunes, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. So crazy what all can happen in a year and how hard work really does pay off. we’ve since then found out we were pregnant, had a baby, traveled like crazy, and this song worked it’s way into fruition and all the way up the charts. Love this song and everyone that has had a hand in it. Like I always say… it was all #meanttobe#Godisgood,” she wrote.

The song continues to grab hold of listeners worldwide and has earned more than 478 million streams to date.

“Meant To Be” is just another smash-sensation released featuring the duo, following The Chainsmokers’ “Last Day Alive,” Jason Derulo and Hank Williams, Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night,” Morgan Wallen’s “Up Down,” and Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s “Let Me Go” (featuring watt). The duo also earned their 13th No.1 single with “God, Your Mama, And Me,” featuring the Backstreet Boys.

“Meant to Be” is featured on Rexha’s EP, All Your Fault: Part 2, and can be purchased or streamed online now.
