Pop sensation Harry Styles went from the boy band lifestyle to the big screen and now he has his sights set on country music.

During a recent interview with radio host Elvis Duran, Styles revealed his deep desire to get in the studio one day with Chris Stapleton. Admitting that he’s a huge fan of Stapleton’s work, Styles wants to learn tips of the craft from the country singer whom he admires in his work and personal life aspects.

“I would say, I’m a massive fan of Chris Stapleton. Big fan. So I think I’d have to say him. Yeah, I love him and his voice. He’s everything,” Styles gushed when asked about future collaborations.

While the radio show gave Styles the green light on crossing over into country music because of his mellow sound, the pop star didn’t seem as gung-ho in terms of switching genres just for that reason. Nevertheless, he seemed interested at the opportunity to get in the room with Stapleton at some point soon.

The two will cross paths as they are both slated to perform at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas later this year. Other country acts such as Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett will take the stage at the fest as well, representing country music in full stride.

In the meantime, Stapleton will continue on his touring run for the All-American Road Show leg hitting cities across the country. Fans can find more information about the tour, including the rescheduled dates following his hand injury, on his website.

Stapleton’s latest release, From A Room: Volume 1, is available to purchase or stream now.
