Hunter Hayes Premieres Part One of Mini-Movie Series

Hunter Hayes has been teasing fans with talks of a upcoming project that goes along with his new music and he has finally revealed the news.

Hayes premiered the music video for his song “You Should Be Loved” featuring pop trio The Shadowboxers, but the video is actually a part of something bigger. This is just part one of a mini-movie series entitled Pictures, which will showcase three stories that are each part of a final story line.

“‘Pictures’ is a totally new experience for me,” Hayes told Forbes exclusively. “We’ve never done anything like this and I love how it takes you out of current reality and transports you to a different time and place entirely, where each song tells a piece of the story.”

The plot-driven music video for “You Should Be Loved” takes place on the 1950s and follows two different relationships. One girl is falling for a guy at first sight, while another girl is trying to get out of an abusive relationship.

“With part one I’m only able to share the beginning, so I can’t wait for the fans to hear the new music and watch as the rest of the story is told along the way!” Hayes told the publication.

The next two videos, each for a different song, will continue the story and are set to be released in the coming months. Once each part has been released, the movie will come together at Regal Cinemas in Nashville in early 2018. The event will feature an exclusive panel featuring the actors, director and screenwriter, and a live performance from Hayes.
