No one puts on a hometown show quite like Jason Aldean. The current three-time CMA nominee returned to Macon, GA, on Thursday, Sept. 6 for this third annual Concert For The Kids charity show.

Held at the Macon Coliseum, the show raised more than $620,000 for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health.

“There is nothing better than coming back to your hometown for a great cause and Georgia really showed up,” said Aldean in a press release. “Thanks to Lauren Alaina for helping set the tone and with the community’s support over the last few years we’ve been able to help build an entire new facility for these kids who really need it the most.”

Since beginning his Concert For The Kids, Aldean has raised nearly $2 million for the pediatric facility, which serves central and south Georgia. Having a country superstar like Aldean step up for the hospital is something the team doesn’t take for granted.

“We are so grateful to Jason and his entire team. This will be the third year he has done a concert benefiting the sick and injured kids cared for at the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. We just can’t thank him enough,” Ellen Terrell, Chief Development Officer at Navicent Health, shared previously.

The night after his third annual Concert For The Kids, Aldean returned to his adopted hometown of Nashville, TN for a sold-out stop on his “High Noon Neon Tour.” The singer will continue the run through the rest of September.
