Kane Brown wants to soak in everything he can while he’s out on the road with Jason Aldean on the They Don’t Know Tour.

If there’s something Brown’s learned so far from Aldean though, it’s that the “Any Ol’ Barstool” singer leads by example and knows how to keep it all together despite what pessimistic thoughts come his way. Brown admires the way Aldean remains level-headed no matter how much success he garners, and plans to follow along a similar path.

“Not really other than keep your head on straight and don’t let negative comments get to you. Every one of us out there has negative comments sometimes. It’s just one of the things – stay positive and keep doing you. That’s what Jason keeps beating in my head – just do you,” Brown said to Sounds Like Nashville.

After making it big with his Gold certification on his current single, “What Ifs,” Brown still plans to take away any wisdom he can from Aldean while they travel around. Even though the off-stage attitude determines a lot for Brown, he also gives a nod to Aldean regarding his stage presence as well and enjoys learning from the side after his set ends for the night.

“It’s cool, because I have somebody to look up to,” Brown admitted. “I have somebody to watch their show and learn off of it. I’ve got Chris Young, too, that I’m learning [from]. I feel like I’m usually the one that’s onstage, and I don’t have anybody to watch. So it’s cool being out there with Jason so I can watch and take in everything and learn.”

Aldean’s They Don’t Know Tour runs through the rest of the summer and into the fall season. Fans can find more information about which dates Brown will perform at and purchase tickets online.
