Jason Aldean Earns Coveted Title of ACM Entertainer of the Year
"Man, one of the eagles just gave me an award, that’s probably the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me, ever," Aldean expressed as he accepted the honor.
Jason Aldean is about to party hard all night long over this stellar night as he was just crowned this year’s ACM Entertainer of the Year.
Aldean joins the ranks of icons like Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and more as he notched his name on the star-studded list of previous Entertainers of the Year as the 2017 winner of the coveted prize for the second year in a row.
“Man, one of the eagles just gave me an award, that’s probably the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me, ever,” he said upon receiving his award. “Man I am so thankful you guys don’t know how much I love getting up and doing what I do everyday. Everybody in this category, Luke one of my best friends in the world – FGL ,Keith I’ve toured with you, Carrie we’ve done shows together. Nothing but respect for all you guys. And just such an amazing group of artists I’m just glad I get to be a part of it.”
Up against some steady competition in the category, Aldean beat out huge country names like Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line to come out on top.
The 52nd Annual ACM Awards were hosted by Dierks Bentley and Bryan, and celebrated right in the heart of Las Vegas.
