Jessie James Decker Drops New Single, Kicks Off 2019 Tour
Country star Jessie James Decker dropped her brand-new single, "Roots And Wings," and kicked off her headlining tour on her 30th birthday.
Country pop singer-songwriter Jessie James Decker celebrated her 30th birthday by dropping a brand-new single as well as kicking off her self-titled headlining tour.
The song, titled “Roots And Wings,” is a slow burning ballad all about living in the present while also keeping the past and future in mind. Pedal steel guitars featured throughout give the track a very classic, old-school feel.
“Roots and wings/ I’m somewhere in between/ where I’m from and what I dream/ what I’ve known and what I’ve seen,” Decker sings in the chorus.
The country star’s self-titled tour began in Denver, Colorado, and it will continue through June 1, where she will finish out the trek in Houston, Texas. Decker will also perform at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California on April 27.
Earlier in 2019, the singer opened her first ever brick-and-mortar store in Nashville, Tennessee, for her fashion line Kittenish. The shop offers Decker’s many different designs of dresses, jackets, tops, bottoms and more.
