Jon Pardi will make the small screen throughout Super Bowl LII, but in the capacity of music when his re-recorded version of “I Like Beer” plays on a Michelob ULTRA commercial.

Although the country singer doesn’t physically appear in the promo, Pardi still earns his claim to fame by having countless people singing to his song as they perform their day-to-day activities. From running to surfing to yoga, the singers in the commercial burn those extra calories so later on they can indulge on a pint or two of the classic ale.

Noting a special moment in his career, Pardi couldn’t help but share how honored he was to have his very own song played out during the biggest sports event of the year. A milestone he never knew he could reach, the California native finds pride in being a part of such a monumental achievement.

“This past year has been filled with so many milestones and bucket list items, and when Michelob Ultra reached out with an opportunity to be part of this Super Bowl commercial, I was all in. It was such a fun experience to record this version of the song and it’s awesome to be a part of it,” said Pardi about the advertisement.

Some of the familiar faces singing “I Like Beer” in the Michelob slot include actor Chris Pratt, surfer Kelly Slater, marathon winner Shalane Flanagan and a couple more. Smiling as they truck along to get to the suds, they raise a glass to Pardi for coming out with such a relatable track to match exactly what the ad is all about.

Speaking of Pardi’s television appearances, the singer got another role on a commercial recently for the truth campaign against smoking. He condemns any promotion of tobacco use during his part and doesn’t understand the addiction of a life-threatening vice such as cigarettes.

Super Bowl LII pits the Philadelphia Eagles against the New England Patriots on Sunday, February 4, at 6:30 p.m. EST on NBC.
