Taking a page from the books of Alan Jackson and George Strait, Justin Moore is gearing up to release his most traditional album to date with Late Nights and Longnecks. Due for release on April 26, the 10-song project was a collaborative effort between Moore and his all-star band, which featured CMA Award-winning guitarist Brent Mason and ACM-winning pedal steel player Paul Franklin.

“I’ve never worked with those guys [Mason and Franklin] before, but they’ve played on some of my favorite albums of all time,” shared the Arkansas native in a press release. “We thought it would be really cool to bring them in and record the whole thing at The Castle, this historic studio just south of Nashville where a lot of those legendary hit records were made.”

Moore has a writing credit on each of the ten songs featured on the project. He enlisted the help of some of Nashville’s biggest songwriting names, including Casey Beathard, Rhett Akins, Paul DiGiovanni and more. The record speaks to much of what Moore encounters on a daily basis, from his intense touring schedule to his time at home with his wife and four kids.

Fans got a taste of the album with the release of the first single, “The Ones That Never Make It Back Home,” a tribute to the soldiers, nurses, first responders and teachers who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect others.

In the weeks leading up to the release of Late Nights and Longnecks, Moore will continue a string of headlining dates, running March through August, with a Fall tour to be announced soon.

The lead single from Late Nights and Longnecks, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” is available for download.
