Kane Brown and Wife Expecting Baby Girl

Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae are about to embark on one of the best journeys of all – parenthood. The couple announced last month that they’d be welcoming their first child together and have just revealed the gender.
During last night’s 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Brown and his bride shared the news with The Ellen Show producer Andy Lassner.
“We’re having a baby girl,” he shared.
The rest of the red carpet at the awards ceremony left Brown chatting away about his daughter, showcasing how excited he is to be a dad.
“I’m prepared. I’m not going to let the baby go — I’m going to hold on to [her] the whole time,” Brown said to PEOPLE. “I might be carrying the baby down the carpet with me next!”
Adding to Billboard, he said “I’m excited. I wish I could just fast-forward and make it to where it’s already here.”
The couple’s excitement for their pregnancy has been apparent since announcing the news in April. Both shared posts to Instagram, complete with sweet messages about their little girl.
“It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” wrote Brown with a photo of the sonogram.
“The coolest day of my life by far. I barely could stop laughing / crying to let her get pictures but I am soooooo happy and excited,” added Katelyn with a video from her ultrasound.
No word yet on when baby girl Brown is due.
