Summer is almost here and festival season is in full swing! Although Coachella has come and gone, it left a lasting impression on festival-goer’s when it comes to festival style.

Moving from west to east, our festival season here in Nashville is just about to kick off. Here we come CMA Fest and Bannaroo!

With both kicking off in early June, you still have time to prepare your festival looks. Staying cool and comfortable is key while at the same time looking effortless and chic. Who knows, you may find yourself featured in a “top festival fashion looks” publication from CMA Fest or Bonnaroo.

What I love most about festival fashion is that just about anything goes! Festivals are a great time for goers to express themselves more freely through both the music and the fashion. Create a look that you know will make you feel your best and that will allow you to express your personality and creativity.

Some of the top trends when it comes to festival fashion are two-piece sets, statement hats, belt bags, distressed denim, & slouchy tanks and tees.

Two-piece sets are a great option for looking polished & chic yet still being super comfortable. Think light flowy fabrics with embroidered detail. Pair your set with a fun pair of bold statement earrings, a chic belt bag, some classic round sunglasses, and a wide brim hat.

You will also see a much more casual approach to festival style, which includes distressed denim and either a slouchy tank or a graphic tee. I love the way a slouchy tank looks with a great pair of distressed cutoff denim shorts. Add a buckle belt for a touch of western flair, a statement hat with a leather stud trim, a gold layered necklace, and some embellished sandals or even a great pair of ankle booties. Although a tad more casual than a two-piece set, this festival look is still polished, chic, and effortless…and not to mention, comfortable too.

You can truly get so creative with your festival look so don’t hold back!
