Kelsea Ballerini delivered a dynamic performance of her current hit “Miss Me More” at the 2019 CMT Awards.

The country starlet started off the performance with a stripped down version of the track, using just her voice and acoustic guitar as Bridgestone Arena light up behind her, the crowd turning on their phone flashlights to illuminate the arena.

She then kicked in the radio version, making her way to the main stage where a pair of giant wings projected behind her. She gave the song a darker tone with black and red lighting, but her voice was crisp as she sang of the feeling of empowerment that comes with rediscovering oneself at the end of a relationship, fans passionately singing along with her. Equipped with smoke machines, Ballerini set the stage on fire – literally – with her conclusion that had her wings turning into sparklers.

“Miss Me More” scored Ballerini two nominations, including Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year.
