Kelsea Ballerini tried her hand at the whole acting scheme while playing a friendly game of charades during her visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (July 25).

Teaming up with actor Matt Bomer to take on host Jimmy Fallon and actress Jessica Biel, Ballerini proved her talents didn’t necessarily lie within her guessing skills. As Fallon and Biel created some sort of simulated telepathy between their teamwork, Ballerini failed to guess Bomer’s rendition of “Genie in a Bottle.”

Things got even more awkward as Ballerini had to perform the clues for “Magic Mike” to an unresponsive Bomer. The country star pretended to do her own little striptease dance, which left Fallon cracking up over the embarrassment of it all.

Thankfully, Ballerini and Bomer prevailed as the winners by ironically guessing Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” before Biel and Fallon did. As Ballerini rubbed in the fact that her team said the right response before their rivals, Biel jokingly wondered if her lack of answer meant she was heading toward divorce with Timberlake, who just so happens to be her husband.

Ballerini even answered a few questions backstage about her favorite emojis and the last thing she ordered online. Admitting her old AOL username was ‘balletmania’ and that Shania Twain is one of the many celebrity contacts in her phone list, she couldn’t help but laugh after every answer she revealed via video.

She also took time out to perform her single, “Legends,” for the late-night crowd. Earlier in the day, Ballerini spilled to fans that her sophomore album would be titled Unapologetically and would be coming out later this fall.

Fans can watch Ballerini’s antics from Fallon above and can prepare themselves for the release of Unapologetically, which is due out on Friday, November 3.
