Lady Antebellum Kids Show off Their Music Talents

Country music is full of many talented individuals, so it’s no surprise that their children have a bit of musical talent too. Recently, proud parents Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott, and Charles Kelley of GRAMMY-winning trio Lady Antebellum each took to Instagram to share adorable clips of their music-loving kiddos.

In one clip, Haywood’s mini-me, Cash, belted out his ABC’s like a pro. Without skipping a beat, he sprang into the song “Ba Ba Black Sheep,” as he played along on his keyboard. Haywood, who typically stands center stage with his Lady A bandmates, took a backseat to his son’s performance as he sat in a chair and strummed along on his guitar.

In another clip, Scott’s daughter Eisele embraced her moment in the spotlight, singing a bluesy version of “Jingle Bells,” showing no signs of stage fright whatsoever. The soon-to-be big sister even directed her multi-talented family to sing along. “Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, this time everybody sing with me, everybody sing, go,” she sang to the tune to get her family to join in.

Ward Kelley is still a bit too young to know all the words to Christmas songs, but he kept up with the “heys” in “Jingle Bells” as his dad sang along. With a toy microphone pressed up against his face, Ward couldn’t help but smile as his proud parents watched on. The song wasn’t complete without a little improv as the blonde cutie added his own ad lib to the end of the song.

The Lady Antebellum family will grow once again with the arrival of Haywood’s second child later this month. Two more “Lady Babies” are coming in February as Scott and her husband are preparing to welcome twin girls to their family.
