Lady Antebellum ‘Tickled’ To Be Back in Recording Studio
Kelley is sharing some other behind-the-scenes moments from their time on the west coast.
It seems as if the wait for new Lady Antebellum music is almost over! The Grammy-winning trio has been teasing fans with posts about an upcoming project for a little over a month and it looks as if the new music is coming along.
Six weeks ago, the band, made up of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, began teasing photos on Instagram of their writing sessions from a beach house in Los Angeles. Now, Kelley is sharing another behind-the-scenes glimpse into the music-creation process.
“My girl @hillaryscottla getting tickled as my mom would say! @ladyantebellum new record in the works,” he wrote in a post to Facebook on Monday morning.
The photo comes as a welcome surprise as Lady A fans have anxiously awaited word on some new tunes.
“We’re already in the process of writing and pulling all of our ideas and songs and things together, so we have the whole fall blocked off to work on the next record for Lady A and we already started working on it,” Scott told Sounds Like Nashville back in August.
The band decided to take a breather after many years on the go. During their “time off,” each member pursued individual projects, including Kelley’s The Driver album, Scott’s faith-based family project and Haywood acting as producer for up-and-coming trio Post Monroe.
The new project will be a follow-up to 2014’s 747.
