Lauren Alaina is Taking a Break From Social Media: Look Back at Some of Her Punniest Posts
She's so punny!
Lauren Alaina has announced that she’s taking a break from Instagram. In a post featuring a photo of her younger self the “Ladies in the ’90s” singer explained why she’s taking a step back from social media: to reclaim the attitude of the girl in the photo.
“This Lauren didn’t care if she wore boy clothes. She preferred it actually. She didn’t know the future. It’s ups and downs. The happiness and pain it held. She didn’t know about heartbreak or loss,” she posted. “She didn’t know how cruel people can be or how much words can hurt, but she didn’t care what people thought of her or her boy clothes. She was happy and sure of herself…I want to live everyday to be more like her. I’m looking behind every rock and corner for her this year, and I’m going to find her.”
The singer added that she would be back soon, and while we support her healthy attitude about social media we will surely miss her fabulous fashion posts and punny captions. While we await her return, here are a few of our favorites.

Alaina looked like a real-life Cinderella in this dress at the 2017 ACM Awards and we’d be lying if we said we aren’t still completely obsessed with this look. If Disney ever needs another princess, it’s safe to say Alaina should be their first call!
