LOCASH’s Chris Lucas and his wife Kaitlyn rang in the holiday weekend with a new baby!
The couple welcomed their third child and second daughter into the world on Sunday (Sept. 3), People confirms. Weighing 8 lbs., 1 oz., and measuring 19 inches long, baby Violet Reid made her debut in Franklin, Tenn. at 9:42 pm.
“We are just blessed to have another absolutely beautiful little girl in our family,” Lucas told the publication.
“My wife is my rock and backbone that enables me to do what I do,” he added. “To see her with our three kids makes me look up to God and say thank you for giving me this life and showing me what it’s all about!”
The precious baby girl is named after Kaitlyn’s Great Grandmother, but she’ll likely go by her middle name, Reid. [It’s] a name that me and Kait fell in love with,” Lucas explained.
Baby Violet Reid joins big sister Remi McKenna, 17 months, and big brother Caden, 7.
In addition to celebrating their new arrival, Lucas and bandmate Preston Brust are also celebrating a CMA Awards nomination for Vocal Duo of the Year.
