Luke Bryan took his performance of new single “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” to the streets of Nashville for the 2018 CMT Music Awards. Dressed in a blue plaid shirt and faded blue jeans, the country singer heated up Lower Broadway while singing his new single on a stage setup outside of Bridgestone Arena.

Bryan’s performance of the nostalgic summer jam had fans in the crowd raising their hands in the air while singing along to the infectious chorus. Thousands of country fans looked on from the rooftops and the streets alongside the surrounding honky tonks on Broadway as Bryan charmed the packed crowd.

“Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” was written by Zach Crowell, Ryan Hurd and Chase McGill. Bryan’s current single is the follow up to his 20th career No. 1 single, “Most People Are Good,” off his latest album, What Makes You Country.

Bryan was a natural on stage outside for his performance, as he’s currently performing at countless stadiums on his current What Makes You Country Tour.

“I’m excited to get back in front of the fans,” Bryan said upon announcing his summer tour. “To think about the opportunity to also include 13 stadiums is unreal!”
