Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton Earn GRAMMY Nominations

Early Friday morning (12/7), the nominations for the 61st GRAMMY Awards were announced. Singers Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara and Janelle Monae joined DJ Zane Lowe on CBS This Morning to reveal the news.

Among the top nominees was Maren Morris, who scored several nominations for her contribution to Zedd’s massive summer smash “The Middle.”  The Texas native also scored nominations for her own solo music.

Kacey Musgraves, who recently took home the CMA Award for Album of the Year with Golden Hour, scored a nod in the all genre Album of the Year category against artists including Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Drake, H.E.R. and others.

The 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will broadcast live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
