Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban Surprise Fans at Dierks Bentley’s Nashville Concert

On Friday night (2/22), Dierks Bentley hit the stage for his headlining Burning Man Tour date in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Marking his second time as the main act in his hometown’s arena, Bentley brought his entertaining A-game for fans filling the sold-out concert.
While the Arizona native packed in hit-after-hit during his set, it was towards the end that he treated fans to a special surprise that could happen “only in Nashville.” It was after bringing out his opener Tenille Townes for a collaboration on his No.1 smash “Different For Girls,” that Bentley invited two other guests out for a memorable moment.
First up was reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban, who joined Bentley on guitar for “The Mountain.” After the jam session, Bentley invited Urban to hang around before introducing his next guest.
“This is a crazy town, it really is,” said the “Burning Man” singer. “I love this town because no matter where you are, you never know who you’re going to bump into. Cass and I were going for a walk the other day and I bumped into someone I hadn’t seen in a little while.”
He added, “She was there with her husband, and I was like, ‘Man, how you guys doing?’ She goes, ‘You’re playing in town Friday night?’ If you have a Friday night off as a singer, the last thing you probably want to do is come down to Bridgestone. And then she texted me this morning, she’s like, ‘I want to come down!’ She showed up. She’s here. Miranda Lambert just walked in the building.”
The performance marked Lambert’s first since announcing her surprise nuptials just days earlier. The three ventured into a performance of Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” before continuing with Merle Haggard’s “The Bottle Let Me Down,” Loretta Lynn’s “Blue Kentucky Girl,” and the Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away.”
The moment not only left the audience in awe, but also Bentley, who sat down on the stage to watch Urban and Lambert captivate.
The addition of the two superstars weren’t the only surprises during the night’s show. Earlier in the set, Bentley’s parody band Hot Country Knights were joined by Thomas Rhett, who performed his dad’s smash “That Ain’t My Truck.” Mark Miller from Sawyer Brown also joined in on the fun singing a rousing rendition of “Some Girls Do.”
