Miranda Lambert was on fire during her Saturday night (6/24) set at the 2017 LakeShake Festival in Chicago. Kicking her hour-long performance off with “Fastest Girl In Town,” the singer/songwriter had thousands of onlooking fans in the palm of her hand.

Donning a black dress complete with white fringe along the arms, Lambert showed off exactly why she’s a country superstar… her knack for combining her lyrics, her musicality and her stage presence into one intense and exciting show. Fans were hanging on every word of the Texas native’s new single, “Tin Man,” as well as singing back her most popular hits like “Mama’s Broken Heart.”

While Lambert closed the evening, there was no shortage of great music leading up to her headlining slot. Just before she hit the stage, GRAMMY-winning quartet Little Big Town put their harmonies to the forefront when they came together for a collection of their biggest songs. The band’s 45 minute slot was laced with some of their most powerful ballads like “Better Man,” “Girl Crush,” and their latest, “When Someone Stops Loving You,” but was mostly lively with songs like “Pontoon” and “Little White Church.”

Dan + Shay fans were aplenty during the day’s festivities, screaming almost as if the duo were the Beatles. While the duo performed song after song for fans, there was no shortage of singalongs as many of the songs were consumed by fans drowning out the sound of the duo they came to see. As chronicled by Dan + Shay’s Instagram, the crowd took the responsibility of belting out the recent No.1 smash, “How Not To,” impressing and flattering both Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney.

The Next From Nashville stage had no shortage of talent, as well, as acts like Kelleigh Bannen, Adam Craig, Lucie Silvas, Drew Baldridge and Ashley McBryde took the stage. McBryde, a largely buzzed about new act, drew in quite a crowd that even included Lambert, who watched from side stage and later posted a video of her new friend. Craig created a set that combined both his own songs, as well as ones he’s penned for other artists. Silvas kept listeners entranced with her lyrics and hauntingly powerful voice.

Day three of the 2017 Country LakeShake resumes on Sunday, with Rascal Flatts closing out the third annual year. Stay tuned to our Instagram for pictures from the event and subscribe to our LakeShake playlist now!
