Aspiring country stars take notice: USA Network is gearing up to kick off an all new competition just for you. Real Country will look for talented undiscovered acts hoping to take the country world by storm. The network has enlisted the help of Jake Owen, Shania Twain and Travis Tritt to find the best new talent from around the country.
As the show prepares for its Nov. 13 premiere fans are getting a look at the show in action. In its first trailer viewers get a glimpse at many of the talented acts hoping to move forward in the competition.
“I’ve never seen a show like this before. It’s unique because we’re focusing on country music,” says Twain in the promo. “Country music fans, they’re going to love this show. But I think there’s people out there that don’t even realize they love country music,” adds Owen.
The series will premiere with eight, hour-long episodes where solo artists, duos and groups will participate in showcases. Owen, Twain and Tritt will select a winner from each episode and the winners will move on to compete in the final episode of the season. Willie Nelson, Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd and Big & Rich will each join as celebrity guests throughout the season.
