After years of starting off the show for countless artists, Brett Eldredge is taking matters into his own hands by headlining for the first time.

Rolling in hot after finishing up a quick leg with Blake Shelton on the Country Music Freaks Tour, Eldredge wanted to continue on his streak by planning The Long Way Tour to bring even more fans out to his performances for some very special nights. Bring both elements of suave and excitement to the set, the singer anticipates a good time for everyone who comes out.

Eldredge hopes to prepare his supporters for what’s to come, but here are five reasons that fans should line up in droves to check out what the “Somethin’ I’m Good At” singer does on stage (plus some exclusive photos from his tour rehearsal!):

  1. Eldredge always puts his fans first over anything else

As a fan of country music himself, Eldredge appreciates the enthusiasm that his fanbase shows whenever they hang out at meet-and-greet sessions. Making sure that energy goes right back into his set, the Illinois native remembers to cater to their needs over exaggerating his own spotlight.

  1. Edgar, Eldredge’s best furry friend, may make a candid appearance on stage

Oh, Edgar. It’s hard to know what a man like Eldredge would do without his best friend. The two never leave each other’s sides, except when Eldredge has to get up and go to work. But occasionally, he misses his pup and invites him to paw around the stage for a bit. Since Eldredge is running the show on this concert run, Edgar could become a third opening act for the crowd.

  1. Jillian Jacqueline and Devin Dawson will amp up crowds before Eldredge performs

Not only will fans get to experience the live antics of Eldredge, but they’ll get all warmed up with the sounds of both Jillian Jacqueline and Devin Dawson. Jacqueline will add the tongue-in-cheek sass for all the ladies out there, while Dawson will jam with his band to some cool rock-influenced tracks that will blow the audience away.

  1. His first headlining extravaganza will leave fans wanting more out of Eldredge

The first time holds a special place in any musician’s heart and Eldredge will definitely make the most of his longer sets. Nevertheless, even the encore curtain drop plans to erupt a roar from the crowd asking for more time with the smooth singer himself.

  1. There’s bound to be an infamous Eldredge costume change

Prank is Eldredge’s middle name…or so it seems. Every once in a while, he and his bandmates pull out the wigs and silly outfits to trick his fans. Maybe Eldredge will sport a longer, blonder look or he may even channel his hero, Sinatra, to transform into a new identity to get a good laugh during his shows.

Check out Eldredge when he hits the road this spring for The Long Way Tour, starting on April 5. Dates are available to look up on Eldredge’s website now.
