Atkins and Falcon recently revealed the gender and name of their baby at a gender reveal party surround by family and friends.

The couple, who wed in 2013, recently revealed the gender of their baby at a gender reveal party surround by family and friends. As shown in a video clip shared with Entertainment Tonight, Atkins and Falcon learned the gender when the expectant mother shot a BB gun at a black balloon, releasing a puff of blue powder into the air.
“We are way excited and surprised to be having a baby boy,” Atkins told ET, “especially since we, and everyone else [we know], were really convinced we were having a girl!”
Also revealed in the short clip was the baby’s name: Ryder Falcon Atkins.
“I told her that I always liked the name Ry and she immediately said, ‘How about Ryder and you can call him Ry for short?'” the singer explained. “Before the name came along, we went through a million, but the second she said Ryder Falcon and got the thumbs up from Eli, Ry’s big brother, we agreed that was it.”
Ryder joins big brother Elijah, Atkins’ first born from a previous marriage. He’s expected to make his debut this December.
