Sam Hunt’s mama taught him good manners as a boy and he used what he learned while writing tour mate Maren Morris an adorable note to thank her for joining him on the road.

The two bonded throughout the summer as they traveled all across the country on the 15 in a 30 Tour alongside Chris Janson and Ryan Follese. To honor Morris for her hard work and dedication to her performances night after night, Hunt jotted down a few kind words in appreciation of her craft.

“Thank you for being a part of this tour. You’re so talented and strong. You have a presence that draws people towards you. Own it and use it for good. I won’t forget this summer. God bless,” Hunt wrote to Morris.

The note was shared through an Instagram post from Morris’ account, in which she summed up the past few months of her career on tour with a sweet sentiment herself. Showing off a couple artsy photos from the last night on the tour, Morris seemed happily reminiscent of her time on the road with the “Body Like a Back Road” singer.

“From the last show of the #15ina30tour . Thanks for a great summer, @samhuntmusic,” she captioned the photo collection.

Morris won’t be down for the count too long though; she has her sights set high as she’ll hit the road with pop singer Niall Horan next year in the opening act slot as he embarks on his Flicker World Tour in 2018.

The “80s Mercedes” singer also snagged herself a couple nominations at this year’s CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year. The 51st Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 8, on ABC.
