“She’s pretty consistent and she’s pretty organized. I’m all over the place, so she helps bring me back to center a lot of the time," he admitted on the show.

After Sam Hunt tied the knot to his wife, Hannah, he settled into the married life and let music go to the back burner for a few months. Now that he’s back in gear with his artistry, the singer relies on the love from his lady to boost him up and keep him in check on the regular.

In promoting his recently released track, “Downtown’s Dead,” Hunt appeared as an early morning guest on The Bobby Bones Show. Although the “Take Your Time” singer and the radio group talked about a second album in the works and what Hunt enjoys doing in his downtime, he also updated everyone on Hannah getting situated as a part of the puzzle within his spotlighted life.

“She’s great, she’s adapting. I had, well, relatively, a longer amount of time to adapt. She kinda got thrown in at, like, halftime of the game. She’s been adapting, but she’s been really, really supportive, which I tell her every day how much I appreciate it because it’s really been helpful for me. I know how much I’ve asked her to put her interests and her life on hold to be a part of this thing that I’m doing that really kind of consumes both of us, but in a good way for the most part,” Hunt said to host Bobby Bones while appearing on the radio show.

Just like any other couple though, Hunt lets Hannah stay in charge of his sleep schedule so he doesn’t get too out of hand with his late-night habits. She always makes sure that Hunt doesn’t spoil his attitude based on staying up until the wee hours of the morning by establishing certain bedtime routines for a manageable schedule.

“She’s pretty consistent and she’s pretty organized. I’m all over the place, so she helps bring me back to center a lot of the time because I’ll start staying up later and later—it’ll be 10, 11, 12, and I’ll look up a week later and I’m up at 2. I’m like, ‘What am I doing? I gotta get in bed.’ She helps remind me that when it’s time to go to bed, hey come get in bed,” he gushed.

Hunt’s latest single out at the moment, “Downtown’s Dead,” is available now.
