It was just a typical day on the road for Steve Moakler and his band when the crew got into a serious accident out driving on the road.

While Moakler was driving the bus to get to the next destination on their tour schedule, the motor vehicle somehow wound up getting smashed in the front and causing some nasty damage to their transportation.

“We got into a scary accident a couple hours ago while I was behind the wheel. W/ the exception of a few minor bruises, cuts, and burns, everyone is miraculously okay. Thanking God & his angels for protecting us & everyone else on the road. I’m SO happy to be alive. #bornreadytour,” Moakler tweeted out with a picture of the scene.

By the looks of the photo shared, the vehicle obtained the most damage in the front driver’s seat, destroying the door almost completely with a slightly shattered window and the front bumper area coming apart after losing many of its parts. Thankfully, everyone involved was not seriously injured and will recover in due time from their wounds.

Moakler will still be playing his show in Guntersville, Alabama, but told fans in an update that he would be cancelling the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, show due to problems with transportation.

The Born Ready Tour will continue on throughout the month of May, with tour dates and ticket information listed on his official website.
