The unexpected adventures, the singalongs under string lights and the summer heat pouring through is what Temecula Road’s new music video for “Hoping” is all about.

Set in their hometown of Temecula, California, the country trio sing of the high hopes felt in the beginning of a new relationship. As their lighthearted vocals depict the butterflies feeling of a young love, they explore their native city and play along with all it has to offer. From hitting up the local diner in town to discovering the treasures of a nearby thrift store, the group makes their own fun one place at a time.

Temecula Road wanted their video to mimic the same vibes like that of the bubblegum melodies cooed throughout the tune. Making sure that happiness ensues in both film and song, they accomplish their task by showing off their good-natured spirits from clip to clip.

“‘Hoping’ is one of our favorite songs because it’s so relatable,” Temecula Road told Taste of Country about the track. “Everyone has had a summer crush and this song is all about the anticipation of whether it will turn into something more. We shot the ‘Hoping’ video in our hometown, Temecula, California. We wanted the video to capture that summer vibe of just hanging out and having fun with your friends.”

The trio continues to make waves in country music, with their original tracks such as “What If I Kissed You” and “Hoping,” as well as their covers like that of The Chainsmokers’ “Closer.” They also performed a mash-up of some of the biggest songs in 2016, which earned thousands upon thousands of views on social media.

“Hoping” can be heard on digital streaming services and fans can continue to look out for new music from Temecula Road by keeping up with them via their social media pages.
